Message I've had three on my personal car over the cars. Three times the stock power, not a single issue. I've put nearly a dozen eBay kits on other Miatas, stock and not, and have never had an issue either. Have to have well over 200k miles worth of experience between them all by now.

I only get the kits with the Contitech belts, the NSK or GMB bearings (these seem to vary with the time of the year), and the GMB water pump. Mazda themselves no longer sends you OE parts. They, get this, send you NSK or GMB bearings, GMB water pump, and some unmarked timing belt and seals. The ONLY thing Mazda you get in a timing belt kit for an NA Miata is the valve cover gasket..which leaks in 10k miles like every aftermarket one anyway. For 3 or 4 times the cost.

BUUUT..If Mazda actually still provided OE parts, I'd spend the extra and use those without a second thought, even after all my experience with the eBay kits.
